How to find cross references for electronic components using SiliconExpert's Part Search™

Don’t go to dozens of manufacturer websites to find cross references. SiliconExpert’s Part Search™ tool makes it easy to find crosses for electronic components in one place. Cross references are grouped into distinct categories and we identify upgrades and downgrades to make it easy to choose the best possible alternative electronic parts.

The following are steps SiliconExpert’s customers can take to easily find cross references for electronic components:

• Enter the Part Number
  Enter the part number in the search box at the top of the page and click the Go search button for the Part Number search type (select the Cross Ref search type to search only those part numbers that have crosses).

• Find the Number of Crosses Available for Each Electronic Part
  On the results page, the number of crosses available for each part is listed alongside the part numbers. Select the hyperlink on the number of crosses to go to the next page where you'll see the crosses based on their similarities to the original part.

• Find the Best Form-Fit-Function Equivalents to the Original Part
  On the cross results page, use the Cross Type column to find out how similar the crosses are to the original part. A cross type of "A" is a pin to pin drop in replacement with exact package and parametric features. A cross type "B" would be pin to pin compatible with minor differences in package dimension or parametric features. A "C" is pin to pin compatible with major differences in package dimension or parametric features. And so on.
