Skyworks to Acquire The Infrastructure & Automotive Business of Silicon Labs

On April 22, 2021 Skyworks Solutions, Inc. announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement with Silicon Laboratories Inc. to acquire the Infrastructure & Automotive business of Silicon Labs in an all-cash asset transaction of $ 2.75 billion US dollars.

This acquisition has been approved by the boards of directors of both companies and is subject to customary closing conditions including regulatory approvals.  Transaction close date is expected sometime in the third calendar quarter of 2021.

Silicon Labs is a leading provider of silicon, software, and solutions for a smarter, more connected world.  This acquisition includes the technical portfolio and related assets for Silicon Labs ‘ power/isolation, timing, and broadcast production lines which are largely complimentary to Skyworks’ communications portfolio.
